2022 Back to Shabbaton!

After the restrictions of the past two years, Weber students and faculty were beyond excited to gather once again for one of Weber’s most beloved and enduring school traditions: Shabbaton.

Over 250 students and faculty packed up and traveled to Camp Ramah Darom for a weekend of spiritual, artistic, and athletic programs, a joyful Shabbat, and love, laughter, and friendship. Shabbaton allows our vibrant school community to connect outside the classroom during a unique experience where grade-level distinctions are pushed aside, and students and faculty actively engage with each other, unplugged and removed from the demands of everyday life.

This year's Shabbat programming shined with a variety of activities, including the “Divrei Senior,” when students gathered together after meals to hear words of advice and encouragement from graduating seniors, an energetic basketball tournament filled with ruach and good-natured trash-talking, and “The Word” talent show featuring student and faculty performers.
The Weber School, a Jewish Community high school serving students from all Jewish backgrounds, prepares students for success in college and in life with comprehensive academic and co-curricular programs that inspire student exploration, leadership, and Jewish social consciousness. Many of our programs and academies are unique to Weber and can't be found at any other Atlanta-area high schools.

The Felicia Penzell Weber Jewish Community High School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
