Kol Hakavod to Micah Reich (Weber Class of 2021), who has achieved an extraordinary milestone! Currently completing his BS and beginning his MS in Computer Science and Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, Micah has been selected for the prestigious 2025 summer graduate student internship at SpaceX, focusing on guidance, navigation, and control (GNC). This highly competitive position is offered to only one graduate student each year.
Kol Hakavod to Weber alum Uri Pearl (Class of 2011) for his recent feature with Cyber News! Uri is the Co-Founder of Catch, a cyber scam protection software. 📱💻
When asked to reflect on his Weber experience, Uri explains: "Weber is where I learned how to learn. Weber instilled the growth mindset in me and provided me with the ability and confidence to learn anything I needed to at any time. That ability and confidence is the foundation for who I am today."

Max Shafron graduated from Weber in 2011 and is now the Country Director for Brazil and Paraguay in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the U.S. Department of Defense, where he acts as the Secretary’s advisor on all aspects of bilateral military cooperation between the United States, Brazil, and Paraguay. Max joined the Department of Defense as a John McCain Strategic Defense Fellow, serving in two rotational assignments before securing a position in the Space and Missile Defense Policy office in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Prior to the Department of Defense, Max worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and received a Master's Degree in International Security from The George Washington University. Reflecting on his journey, Max shares, "At an early stage, Weber gave me the opportunity to explore my fascination with history, international relations, and American government – and tie that to my interest in public service and Tikkun Olam. I'm thankful to now be able to do that every day in our nation's capital!" Weber is proud to have been part of your journey, Max!
Meredith is a proud Weber Class of 2016 alum and transfer student! In May 2023, Meredith was appointed by the Biden Administration to the White House as a Deputy Director in the Office of Management and Administration. In her role, she is managing strategic people operations for the White House Policy offices and leading the Learning and Development portfolio for 500+ White House staff. Prior to this role, she served as a political appointee at the U.S. Department of Education.

Hannah was accepted to Garin Tzabar, a unique program that provides comprehensive services to young Jewish adults (ages 18-24) who make Aliyah and serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as Lone Soldiers.
After graduating from Weber in 2016, Brooke Berman joined Tulane’s class of 2020 to study Public Health. Shortly after delving into her major, Brooke realized that she wanted to be more hands-on in the healthcare field. She had friends studying nursing and spent some quality time learning what entering that field would entail.
Kol HaKavod to Jason Feldman (Class of 2010) on being appointed to the LGBTQ Advisory Board of Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. On this board, he will work alongside other LGBTQ leaders and City of Atlanta staff to move LGBTQ equality forward in Atlanta.
Weber Alum Adam Podber (Class of 2008), who credits Weber with playing a pivotal role in his journey to becoming a full-time artist and muralist, was invited to participate in the Jewish Street Art Festival (LINK) in LA -- currently reimagined as a mural festival across the US and Canada. Adam is one of nine participating artists painting a mural in their city during Hanukkah, with a unifying theme of "light over darkness."
Mazel Tov to Josh Klein (Class of 2003) and his wife Rebecca on the birth of their son Jonah Berel Klein on November 17, 2020. His big sisters Ella and Sadie look pretty happy to have a younger brother!
The Weber School, a Jewish Community high school serving students from all Jewish backgrounds, prepares students for success in college and in life with comprehensive academic and co-curricular programs that inspire student exploration, leadership, and Jewish social consciousness. Many of our programs and academies are unique to Weber and can't be found at any other Atlanta-area high schools.
