Kol Hakavod, Wags for Weber!

Weber students are making a difference for animals in need! Over the past few months, Wags for Weber, a student-led club dedicated to supporting local shelters, has worked tirelessly to collect food, toys, treats, and bedding for FurKids Animal Rescue and Shelter. Thanks to the generosity of our community, they filled the trunks of two cars with much-needed supplies, ensuring that countless animals receive the care and comfort they deserve.

Beyond donations, club members also put their creativity to work, crafting rope toys for shelter dogs using fabric generously donated by Ben Kalmin. When it came time to deliver the donations, students didn’t just drop them off—they spent time socializing with the cats, providing much-needed companionship to help prepare them for adoption.

Co-presidents Gabe Fisher and Tomer Bezalel, along with club advisor Rachel Miller, have led this initiative with compassion and dedication, proving that even small efforts can have a big impact.
