Kol HaKavod to alumna Jolie Seir (Class of 2018), who was recently honored with the prestigious Global Marketing Rookie of the Year award by IHG Hotels & Resorts. This accolade is a testament to Jolie's outstanding performance and her ability to raise the bar within her first year at the company.
Reflecting on the impact of her Weber education, Jolie shared, "Transferring to The Weber School during my sophomore year of high school was one of the best decisions I made. At Weber, I learned to communicate effectively, advocate for what I need, and find my voice. The smaller group settings helped me develop a collaborative style, making me more aware of the responsibilities of each team member and how my own work fits in."
Jolie's success in her role at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she focuses on creating relationships, networking, and building a brand in a team setting, is a direct reflection of the principles she learned at Weber. She added, "I would not have been awarded the Global Marketing Rookie of the Year at IHG without the foundation set during my Weber years. I take the principles I learned then and apply them to what I do now every day on a global scale."
