Under the leadership of Rosie Grinzaid, Weber's Associate Director of Student Social and Emotional Support, along with the mentorship of our dedicated Peer Leaders, New Student Orientation provided newcomers with a two-day immersion into Weber life. The event commenced with Peer Group introductions, setting a casual tone that prioritized relationship-building. The subsequent day was designed for students to familiarize themselves with Weber's digital ecosystem and to engage in enriching dialogues with faculty members. Throughout the orientation, students actively participated in collaborative activities, fostering bonds with both their peers and the extended Weber community. At Weber, the essence of Peer Leadership is grounded in the principle that students thrive best in an environment where they can aid in the success of their peers. Our Peer Leaders, handpicked for their exemplary leadership skills and their passion for mentorship, play a vital role in making our new student’s transition to Weber as seamless as possible.
